Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections are to be held along with the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In view of this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the list of 60 candidates for the Arunachal Assembly elections. BJP has given ticket to Chief Minister Pema Khandu from Mukto (ST) assembly seat. Let us tell you that the tenure of Arunachal Pradesh Assembly is ending in June 2024.
Tsering Lhamu has been given the ticket from Lumla (ST). Tsering Dorji from Tawang (ST), Pema Khandu from Mukto (ST), Phurpa Tsering from Dirang (ST), Tseten Chombe from Kalaktang, Kumsi Sidiso from Thrizino-Buragaon (ST), Dongru Seongju from Bomdila have been made candidates.

Let us tell you that in the last assembly elections held in 2019, BJP had won 41 out of 60 assembly seats in the state. Here JDU got 7 seats, NDEP got 5 seats and Congress got 4 seats. After the elections, BJP formed the government in the state and Pema Khandu became the Chief Minister.
