Advani ji did not want Babri Masjid to be demolished – Uma Bharti

New Delhi: Preparations are being made across the country for the consecration of Ram Lalla to be held on January 22 in Ayodhya. Thousands of people will come to Ayodhya to participate in the Pran Pratishtha program. Some of these will also be those people who gave edge to the Ram Mandir movement. There are many people including BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, Uma Bharti. Before the consecration, former Union Minister Uma Bharti has claimed that Lal Krishna Advani did not want the structure of Babri Masjid to be demolished.

‘Advani ji wanted to shift the structure somewhere else’

Making a post on social media platform X (Twitter), Uma Bharti claimed that Advani ji did not want the disputed structure to be demolished. He said, “When Advani ji took out the Rath Yatra from Somnath, his call was that this controversial structure should be shifted somewhere else without demolishing it through new technology.”

‘Advani ji probably regretted this’

On the contrary, what happened was that the kar sevaks, without caring for their lives, demolished the structure in front of their eyes. Advani ji probably regretted this, he wanted the temple to be located where Ram Lalla is present. The crowd present in Ayodhya were Ram devotees and faithful kar sevaks but many of them were not our disciplined workers.

‘Public sentiments are not controlled by remote control’

Uma Bharti said that the Karsevaks were eager to demolish that structure of stigma at any cost and it was only because of the collapse of the structure that the Archeology Department was able to excavate, evidence of the existence of a temple was found, the Honorable Court accepted it, the foundation stone was laid and now The incident of December 6 not only became the root cause of Ram Mandir, it also became a lesson for everyone that public sentiments are not controlled by remote control.
