Lok Sabha Election 2024: The Election Commission has announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections 2024. Elections will be conducted in seven phases in the country. The first phase of voting will be held on 19 April, the second phase on 26 April, the third phase on 07 May, the fourth phase of voting on 13 May, the fifth phase of voting on 20 May, the sixth phase of voting on 26 May and the seventh phase of voting on 1 June. . With this, counting of votes across the country will be completed on June 4. With this we will get to know whose next government is being formed in the country.

First phase of voting on April 19

Let us tell you that the notification for the first phase will be released on March 20, 2024. With this, the last date for nomination of candidates for this phase will be March 27. Whereas in Bihar, nomination for the first phase can be done till March 28. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on March 28 and in Bihar it will be held on March 30. Along with this, withdrawal of nominations can be done till March 30. Whereas in Bihar, the last date for withdrawal of nominations for the first phase is 02 April. Voting will be held here on Friday, April 19, 2024 and counting of votes will take place on June 4 only.

Voting will be held on 102 seats in 21 states

During the first phase, voting will be held on a total of 102 seats in 21 states. These include two from Arunachal Pradesh, five from Assam, four from Bihar, one from Chhattisgarh, six from Madhya Pradesh, five from Maharashtra, two from Manipur and Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Voting will be held on one Lok Sabha seat each in Puducherry, Sikkim and Nagaland, 12 in Rajasthan, 39 in Tamil Nadu, eight in Uttar Pradesh, five in Uttarakhand and three in West Bengal.

By-elections will be held on one assembly seat.
