The third phase of voting will take place on May 7. The fourth phase of voting will take place on May 13. The fifth phase of voting will be held on May 20. The sixth phase of voting will take place on May 25. The seventh phase of voting will take place on June 1. Counting of votes will take place on June 4. It is known that the tenure of the current Lok Sabha is ending on June 16. In such a situation, the new Lok Sabha has to be formed before that. Whereas the tenure of the assemblies in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha is ending on different dates in June. At the same time, assembly elections are to be held in Jammu and Kashmir also.

Election Commission presented the figures of its voters

  • 97 crore people will vote in this Lok Sabha election.
