New Delhi: The election manifesto with which Congress is going to enter this Lok Sabha election will be based on the party’s announcement of five ‘justice’ and 25 ‘guarantees’. The party says that this document is a ‘justice letter’ for it, which it will try to reach to every voter of the country with the mantra of ‘Ghar-Ghar Guarantee’. After three and a half hours of discussion on the draft manifesto, the Congress Working Committee authorized party president Mallikarjun Kharge to approve it and fix the date of release.

The five ‘justice’ and 25 ‘guarantees’ which will be prominently mentioned in the Congress manifesto were announced during the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. The guarantees of Congress are a resolve to bring prosperity in the lives of the countrymen.
What are the five justices of Congress?
According to the Congress, its manifesto will be based on the party’s five principles of justice – ‘Shareholder Justice’, ‘Kisan Justice’, ‘Women’s Justice’, ‘Labour Justice’ and ‘Youth Justice’. The five guarantees that the party has talked about under ‘Youth Justice’ include the promise of providing 30 lakh government jobs and giving Rs 1 lakh to the youth under the apprenticeship program for one year. The party has given a ‘guarantee’ to conduct caste census under ‘shared justice’ and remove the 50 percent limit of reservation. Under ‘Kisan Nyay’, he has promised legal status to minimum support price, formation of loan waiver commission and GST-free farming.
Promise of urban employment guarantee
Under ‘Labor Justice’, Congress has promised to provide right to health to workers, ensure minimum wage of Rs 400 per day and urban employment guarantee. It has made many promises under ‘Nari Nyay’ including giving Rs 1 lakh per year to women from poor families under the ‘Mahalakshmi’ guarantee.
