Know where and when the elections are
The dates of Lok Sabha elections have been announced. Lok Sabha elections will be held in 7 phases across the country and the results are expected on June 4, 2024. The Election Commission has issued guidelines regarding this which contain details of the entire election process. Elections will be held in seven phases in the entire country including Bihar-UP, Maharashtra and Delhi, but people are curious about when and where the elections will be held. Some seats are also VIP, out of which Varanasi seat from where PM Modi will contest and Wayanad from where Rahul Gandhi will contest, people are going to keep a special eye on these seats.
Know when voting will take place in your city-
Talking about the capital Delhi, there are a total of seven Lok Sabha seats here. Voting will be held on all these seven seats of Delhi – Chandni Chowk, North Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi on 25 May 2024, while voting on Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha seat will be held on 26 April 2024.
There are a total of six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai, which are North Mumbai, North West Mumbai, North Central Mumbai, South Central Mumbai, South Mumbai Lok Sabha seat, Mumbai North East seat. Elections will be held on all these seats in Mumbai on 20 May 2024.
Voting will be held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on 13 May 2024, while voting for Lok Sabha elections will be held in Bhopal on 7 May 2024.
Voting will be held on 20 May 2024 for Lucknow Lok Sabha seat, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
Varanasi is the most VIP Lok Sabha seat in the country because Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from this seat. Voting will take place here on June 1, 2024.
Voting will be held on Patna Sahib and Patliputra Lok Sabha seats of Bihar on June 1, 2024.
Voting for Lok Sabha elections will be held on 13 May 2024 in Kanpur, the famous city of Uttar Pradesh.
Voting for Lok Sabha elections will be held on 25 May 2024 in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.
Voting will take place in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on 19 April 2024. Voting will take place in Jaipur Rural also on April 19 only.
Elections will be held in Amethi on 20th May which is important for Smriti Irani. This will be the fifth phase of elections.
In the third phase, voting will be held in Mainpuri (Dimple Yadav) and Badaun (Shivpal Yadav) on May 7, which is important for SP.
Voting will take place early in Wayanad on 19th April. Wayanad is the seat of Rahul Gandhi.
