Lord Ram’s picture was worshiped in mosques, Muslims wore saffron clothes – India TV Hindi

Worship of Lord Ram in the mosque premises

Muslims in several villages in the north Karnataka region on Monday worshiped Lord Ram in the premises of mosques on the occasion of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Members of the Muslim community in Halyala village of Hubballi taluk offered prayers by placing pictures of Lord Ram in two mosques and the premises of the Syed Ali Dargah. On this occasion, he served food to the villagers and also wore saffron clothes.

Muslims performed home rituals

Muslims performed ‘Hom’ ritual at Hunasikatti village in Nargund taluk of Gadag district. The ritual was performed in the premises of the village mosque and Hindus also participated in the event. Floral tributes were also offered to the picture of ‘Bharat Mata’. North Karnataka is known for religious harmony and brotherhood. Unlike other places, in the villages of North Karnataka Muslims and Hindus live in close proximity and share a common culture.

‘Our Ram has come’

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi consecrated Ramlala in Ayodhya Ram temple on Monday. This event was watched by millions of people on TV in their homes and in temples across the country. In his address after Abhishek, Modi said- “Our Ram has come.” (Input- IANS)
