Latur: A shocking incident has come to light from Latur district of Maharashtra. Here a man attacked his mother on the head with a stick, due to which the mother died. The accused son has been identified as Poonamchandra Kandale (40) and his mother has been identified as Prabhavati Kandale (69).
What is the whole matter?
The police officer said on Wednesday that the accused person was undergoing mental health treatment for the last 12 years. He said that this incident happened on Tuesday in Valmiki Nagar of MIDC area. The officer said that Poonamchandra Kandale (40) hit his mother Prabhavati Kandale (69) on the head with a stick when she had gone to his room with food.
Prabhavati, who was seriously injured due to the stick attack, died. Assistant Inspector Shivaji Devkate said Poonamchandra was suffering from mental health issues and was undergoing treatment since 2011. He said, “We have kept the accused in the hospital on medical advice and have informed the court about this.” (Input: Language)
