UP Police arrested 122 solvers

Lucknow: The examination is going on for the recruitment of 60,244 constable posts in Uttar Pradesh. The examination on Saturday was completed peacefully. Now the exam is to be held today i.e. on Sunday also. The administration was very alert about this examination and as a result many solvers were caught by the police. UP Police said that they have arrested or detained a total of 122 Munnabhais during February 15, 16 and 17.

UP Police and STF launched the campaign

Police said that the police and STF had jointly launched a campaign to maintain the integrity and sanctity of the examination. 122 people have been arrested under this campaign. He said that no information was received about irregularities in the examination on the first day. On Saturday, the examination of both the shifts was conducted peacefully. Let us tell you that even today the examination will be held in two shifts only.

122 people were arrested from 14 districts

Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar said that a total of 122 people were arrested from 14 districts from 15 February to 4:30 pm on 17 February. During this period, 96 people were arrested on Saturday. Of these, maximum 15 people were arrested from Etah district on Saturday. Earlier on 16 February, 21 people were arrested. And on February 15, 5 people were picked up.

More than 6 lakh candidates from other states

Let us tell you that a total of 48, 17,441 candidates had applied for the examination, which includes 15,48,969 women candidates. On Saturday, February 17, 12,04,360 candidates will appear for the exam in both the first and second shifts at the centres, while on Sunday, February 18, 12,04,361 candidates will appear for the first shift and 12,04,360 candidates will appear for the second shift. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, more than 6 lakh candidates from other states have applied in this examination, including 267305 candidates from Bihar, 74769 candidates from Haryana, 17112 candidates from Jharkhand, 98400 candidates from Madhya Pradesh, 42259 candidates from Delhi, 97277 candidates from Rajasthan. Candidates include 14627 candidates from Uttarakhand, 5512 candidates from West Bengal, 3151 candidates from Maharashtra and 3404 candidates from Punjab.
