According to India TV-CNX opinion poll, out of total 40 seats in Tamil Nadu-Puducherry, DMK can get maximum 20 seats. After this, Congress seems to get 6 seats. AIADMK may win 4 seats. At the same time, BJP seems to be taking lead on 5 seats. Apart from this, it seems to be leading on other five seats.

Can BJP take control here?

The 4 seats in Tamil Nadu that BJP is winning are Coimbatore, Ramanathapuram, Kanyakumari and Vellore. At the same time, BJP can also win one seat in Puducherry.

Challenge to be captured again?

In Tamil Nadu, DMK will enter the fray with its allies in the opposition alliance INDIA. In the 2019 elections also, the alliance of DMK, Congress and Left parties performed well and won 39 out of 40 seats. There is a contest between the opposition alliance INDIA and NDA to get 39 Lok Sabha seats of Tamil Nadu and one Lok Sabha seat of Puducherry. While the challenge for the INDIA Alliance is to recapture these seats, the NDA is trying to increase its seats in the southern states, so that the possible shortfall in the northern states can be compensated.
