North-East: The Election Commission has announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The Election Commission has given this important information in a press conference on Saturday (16 March) at 3 pm. The Election Commission has said that the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections will take place from April 19. Voting will be held on 102 seats in the first phase. The second phase will take place on April 26. Voting will be held on 89 seats. Voting will be held on 97 seats in the third phase on May 7. Voting will be held on 96 seats in the fourth phase on May 13. Voting will be held on 49 seats in the fifth phase on May 20. Voting will be held on 57 seats in the sixth phase on May 25. In the seventh and last phase, voting will be held on 57 seats on June 1. The results of the elections will be declared on June 04.
When will elections be held in North-East?
The first phase of voting in North East will be held on April 19. On April 19, elections will be held on all 2 seats of Arunachal Pradesh, 5 seats of Assam, all 2 seats of Manipur, all 2 seats of Meghalaya and 1 seat each of Mizoram and Nagaland. Voting will be held on 5 seats of Assam in the second phase on 26th April and on the remaining 4 seats of Assam in the third phase on 7th May. The results will be declared on June 04.
