Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Paras
Union Minister Pashupati Paras resigned from the Cabinet today. He will leave for Bihar at 4 pm. Let us tell you that after NDA announced the distribution of all 40 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar in Delhi on Monday, Paras held a meeting with party leaders at his official residence. It is being told that in this meeting a decision was taken to break ties with NDA and join the Grand Alliance. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
The whole game got spoiled because of one ‘seat’?
Let us tell you that after several days of tussle, on Monday, NDA decided the seat sharing formula in Bihar, under which, out of 40 seats in Bihar, BJP will win on 17 seats, JDU on 16, LJP on five and out of the remaining two seats, Hindustani Awami Morcha (HAM) and Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha will contest one seat each. Under seat sharing, uncle Pashupati Paras has not been given a single seat. It is believed that this whole game got spoiled due to the insistence of fighting on one seat.
Pashupati Paras was demanding Hajipur seat while Chirag Paswan was also demanding the same seat. Hajipur is the same seat from where Chirag’s father Ram Vilas Paswan was a Lok Sabha MP 9 times. In 2019, Pashupati Paras reached the Lok Sabha for the first time by winning the elections from here.
