New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed concern over the increasing crimes against women in the country. Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Modi said that I want to express my pain from the Red Fort today. We have to think seriously. The general public is angry at the atrocities being committed against our mothers, sisters and daughters. The country, society and our state governments have to take this seriously. Crimes against women should be investigated as soon as possible.

PM Modi called rapists demons

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that I would also like to tell the society that when there are incidents of rape and atrocities on women, there is a wide discussion on it, but when a person with such demonic tendencies is punished, it is not seen in the news, rather it is limited to one corner. The need of the hour is that there should be a wide discussion on those who get punishment so that those who commit such sins understand that this leads to hanging, I think it is very important to create this fear.

The government did many things for women

Addressing the nation from the Red Fort, PM Modi said that in the past years, we have worked on a women-led development model. Women are making strides in every field, women are providing leadership. Be it our Air Force, Army, Navy or our space sector, we are seeing the strength of women everywhere.
