PM Modi will visit Tamil Nadu on January 20 and 21, will visit major temples – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: Before attending the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tamil Nadu on January 20-21 where he will visit various important temples. This information has been given by the Prime Minister’s Office. PM Modi will visit other important temples of Tamil Nadu including the famous Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in Tiruchirappalli.

Will go to Ranganathaswamy temple on 20th January

According to information received from the PMO, the Prime Minister will participate in a program at Ranganathaswamy Temple on January 20 at around 11 am. The Prime Minister will also listen to various scholars reciting verses from Kamba Ramayanam at this temple. After this the Prime Minister will reach Rameshwaram at around 2 pm and will have darshan and worship at Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple. The next day on January 21, he will visit and worship at the Kothandaramaswami temple in Dhanushkodi. The PMO said Prime Minister Arichal Munai will also visit Dhanushkodi, which is said to be the place where Ram Setu was constructed.

The Prime Minister has been continuously visiting temples for the last few days before the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple. Recently, he had offered prayers at Veerbhadra temple in Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh and the world famous Lord Krishna temple in Guruvayoor, Kerala. Earlier, he had also visited a temple in Nashik. During this time he participated in chanting Ramayana in different languages ​​like Marathi, Malayalam and Telugu.

Will participate in ‘Ramayana Paryan’ program

The PMO said he will participate in a ‘Sri Ramayana Paryana’ program at the Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy temple. The event will see eight different traditional troupes reciting Sanskrit, Awadhi, Kashmiri, Gurmukhi, Assamese, Bengali, Maithili and Gujarati Ramkatha (describing the episode of Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya). “This is in line with the Indian cultural ethos and connectedness, which is at the core of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’,” the PMO said. Shri Arulmigu will also participate in the Prime Minister’s Bhajan Sandhya at the Ramanathaswamy Temple, where in the evening several musical instruments will be performed in the temple premises.
