PM Modi will visit these temples of Tamil Nadu including Rameshwaram, know the day’s program – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: On the second day of his three-day southern tour, PM Modi will visit various temples in Tamil Nadu. Let us tell you that yesterday PM Modi attended various programs in Solapur, Maharashtra and Bengaluru, Karnataka. After this, PM Modi reached Tamil Nadu in the evening. Here on Friday evening he participated in the opening ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games 2023 in Chennai. Now for the next two days, PM Modi will remain in Tamil Nadu and will offer prayers in various temples. PM Modi will be in Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow i.e. Saturday and Sunday, while on Monday he has to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to be held in the Ram temple of Ayodhya.

PM Modi will visit these temples today

Let us tell you that today on January 20, at around 11 am, PM Modi will participate in a program at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The Prime Minister will also hear recitation of verses from Kamba Ramayanam from various scholars at this temple. After this he will reach Rameshwaram at around 2 pm. Here PM Modi will have darshan and worship at Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy temple. PM Modi will also participate in the ‘Shri Ramayana Parayan’ program in this temple. In this programme, eight different traditional troupes will recite Ramkatha (narrating the episode of Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya) in Sanskrit, Awadhi, Kashmiri, Gurmukhi, Assamese, Bengali, Maithili and Gujarati. PM Modi will also attend the Prime Minister Bhajan Sandhya at Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, Rameshwaram.

PM Modi will worship in these temples tomorrow

After this, the next day on January 21, PM Modi will worship at the Kothandaramaswamy temple in Dhanushkodi. This temple is dedicated to Sri Kothandarama Swamy. The meaning of the name Kothandaram is Ram with bow. It is situated at a place called Dhanushkodi. It is said that it was here that Vibhishana met Shri Ram for the first time and sought refuge from him. It is also said that this is the place where Shri Ram coronated Vibhishana. PM Modi will also visit Arichal Munai near Dhanushkodi, which is said to be the place where Ram Setu was built.
