The festival of Makar Sankranti is being celebrated across the country on 15 January. This festival is celebrated with different names across the country. Somewhere it is known as Makar Sankranti, somewhere Pongal and somewhere Maghi. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, PM Modi has shared a post in this regard on social media platform X. He wrote in his post, ‘Many best wishes for Makar Sankranti, the holy festival associated with the sacred tradition of meditation, charity and charity. On this festival of nature, I wish Uttarayan Sun God to provide happiness, prosperity, good fortune and good health to all my family members of the country.
