New Delhi: Recently, a video of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is becoming increasingly viral. In this, he is seen feeding biscuits to the dog during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. However, when the dog did not eat the biscuit, Rahul Gandhi gave the biscuit to a worker. Now after this video went viral, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi gave clarification regarding this on Tuesday. He said that when the dog did not eat the biscuit from my hand, I gave it (biscuit) to its owner to feed. This statement of Rahul Gandhi has come after the video went viral.
Rahul Gandhi gave this reason
After this video went viral, Bharatiya Janata Party had alleged that Gandhi behaves with his party workers in this way. When asked about this, Rahul Gandhi said, “The dog was nervous and trembling. When I gave it the biscuit, it got scared. Then, while giving the biscuit to (its) owner, I said that it will eat from your hand. Then, the owner gave the biscuit and the dog ate it. What’s the problem?” He said that I do not understand why BJP is after the dog?
Assam CM had targeted
Let us tell you that while reacting to this video on Monday night, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma had written on ‘X’ that, “Not only Rahul Gandhi but the entire family could not feed me that biscuit. I am proud to be Assamese and Indian. I refused to eat and resigned from Congress.” Himanta Vishwa Sharma had said this in response to an ‘X’ post by Pallavi CT, co-convenor of Mumbai BJP’s IT and social media cell.

Pallavi CT had written in her ‘X’ post that “How shameless. First, Rahul Gandhi fed biscuits to Himanta Vishwa Sharma ji from the same plate along with his pet dog Pidi. Then Khargeji of Congress compares party workers with dogs and now Shahzada is giving the biscuit to a party worker after a dog refused. “Does he show this kind of respect towards his party workers, supporters and voters?”
