Rahul Gandhi trapped by giving controversial statement on PM Modi, Election Commission sent notice

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi seems to be in trouble after giving controversial statements on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Election Commission has sent notice to Rahul Gandhi. The Commission has given time till November 25 to the Congress leader. By this deadline, Rahul Gandhi has to give his reply to the Election Commission. The Election Commission has issued a notice regarding two statements of the Congress leader. This includes his statement of bribery and pickpocketing to the PM.

Rahul had told PM about Panauti

It is noteworthy that while addressing an election rally in Rajasthan on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi said that ‘PM means Panauti Modi’. Rahul Gandhi used this word associated with misfortune while referring to India’s defeat against Australia in the Cricket World Cup final. After the loss in the match, the word ‘Panauti’ was trending on social media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the stadium in Ahmedabad during the match. This stadium has been named after Prime Minister Modi.

PM had said ‘lord of fools’

Rahul’s comment came after Prime Minister Modi indirectly addressed him (Rahul) a few days ago by calling him the ‘lord of fools’. Regarding the statement of ‘Made in China phone’, Modi had said without naming anyone, ‘Hey ‘Lord of Fools’, in which world do you live?’ Addressing a rally at Baytu in Balotra, the Congress leader also alleged that Modi waived off the loans of big industrialists and gave them all benefits.
