New Delhi: The national convention of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is going on in Burari, Delhi. Today India TV Editor in Chief Rajat Sharma arrived at the convention as the chief guest. The officials of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and the members present there welcomed Rajat Sharma with great warmth. During this period, more than 10 thousand ABVP workers from India and abroad were present. Rajat Sharma also honored 3 youth with Professor Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award in this national convention.
ABVP taught us to face struggles: Rajat Sharma
During the address, Rajat Sharma shared his experiences. He said that the ordinary worker of ABVP, who was anonymous, was taught by ABVP to face struggles and that is why he is present as the chief guest today. Rajat Sharma also said that only you people will provide strong leadership tomorrow and will emerge as tomorrow’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi.
Rajat Sharma told in this program how he joined ABVP and what changed in his life after that. How ABVP taught them to struggle. Along with this, Rajat Sharma also told how he had to face many difficulties after joining ABVP. Addressing the ABVP workers, Rajat Sharma said that we have seen many stages in our journey associated with this organization. We have seen India being insulted at the global level and are also seeing praises. Sometimes we have seen bloodshed in the country due to terrorists and today in Pakistan we are also seeing terrorists changing their homes due to fear. All this has been possible because of the strength of ABVP.
Rajat Sharma expressed confidence that India will get strong leadership in future also from ABVP and said that it is from you people that the country is going to get tomorrow’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi. In this national convention of ABVP, Rajat Sharma also honored 3 youth below 40 years of age with Professor Yashwantrao Kelkar Youth Award. During this, Rajat Sharma also visited the exhibition organized by ABVP. The names of the people to whom Rajat Sharma gave the award are Lahari Bai, Sharad Vivek Sagar and Dr. Vaibhav Bhandari.
