While there is churning in BJP regarding the post of Chief Minister of three states, there is churning in Congress regarding the defeat. But instead of getting to the root of the reason for the defeat, Congress is placing the entire blame on EVMs. On Thursday, Congress created a lot of drama at some distance from Raj Bhawan in Bhopal. Congress leader Digvijay Singh and MLA Phool Singh Baraiya had brought dummy EVM machines. These people blackened this dummy EVM. Well, soot got applied on the face of Congress leader Phool Singh Baraiya and the funniest thing is that he himself got black color applied on his face. In fact, Phool Singh Baraiya had announced that if BJP gets more than 50 seats in the assembly elections, he will blacken his own face. BJP won more than 150 seats. After this, Phool Singh Baraiya said that whatever promise he made once, he fulfills it. However, before applying black color on his face, he gave a long speech and explained why he was doing this. Baraiya had promised to blacken his entire face and perhaps he would have done so, but Digvijay Singh came in between. Digvijay Singh said that Baraiya is ready to fulfill his promise, this is a big thing but the Congress people will not let his face get blackened. Digvijay applied 2-3 strokes of black paint on the face of Phool Singh Baraiya with his own hand and said that these strokes would help prevent him from losing sight.
Digvijay Singh did not allow Baraiya to blacken his entire face but in support of Baraiya, the farmer leader associated with Congress definitely blackened his face. Gwalior’s Youth Congress leader Yogesh Dandotiya himself applied black color on his face. Dandotia had also announced that if BJP won more than 50 seats, he would blacken his own face. The soot that the Congress leaders have applied on their faces will be removed by washing, but the stain of defeat on the face of the Congress will not be removed so soon. The most important thing is that instead of finding ways to erase the stain of defeat, Congress is looking for an escape route. Instead of pondering over the defeat, it is blaming EVMs. In Raipur, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel questioned why BJP leaders get irritated whenever Congress asks questions about EVMs. Baghel asked that it has been 6 days since the election results came, but why is BJP still not able to select its Chief Ministers. Congress is very concerned about why BJP has not yet appointed Chief Ministers in three states. Congress leaders are also worried about why the media did not raise questions on this. BJP leaders have no problem with this delay. No BJP leader raised any questions but Congress is enjoying its defeat also.
Congress is seeing infighting in BJP. They feel that Vasundhara Raje winked at Modi, Modi became silent in front of Shivraj, and Raman Singh disturbed Modi’s peace, this shows that Congress has neither been able to understand Modi nor the BJP leaders. Just think, today which BJP leader would have the courage to show eyes to Modi. No leader has yet claimed the post of Chief Minister in the three states. As soon as Congress won in Karnataka, many contenders came in front of the media. Congress leaders will remember that in Himachal Pradesh, two groups along with their supporters had demonstrated their strength in front of the cameras. That is why the headlines of conflict and conflict were made. Congress should leave aside its bitterness and ponder over why its claims of victory in three states were wrong.
