Nitish Kumar completely took control of Janata Dal (United). Nitish Kumar became the president of JD-U and Rajeev Ranjan alias Lalan Singh became the former president of JD-U. The aim of the two-day long meeting of JD-U’s National Council in Delhi was to remove Lalan Singh from the post of president and make Nitish Kumar the party chief. Although Lalan Singh himself proposed to resign from his post, then the proposal to make Nitish the president was also from Lalan Singh and Nitish Kumar happily accepted both the proposals. Lalan Singh’s script was also the same. He said that during the Lok Sabha elections, he will be busy in his constituency and will not be able to give time to the party, hence he wants to step down. Overall, what happened was already decided. The only question is that when something was decided, when the whole world knew, then what was being kept confidential. What was the need to blame the media for reporting news that was well known? What was the reason for telling lies again and again? How leaders like Lalan Singh, Tejashwi Yadav, KC Tyagi, Vijay Choudhary were lying yesterday and today they turned the tables. Everyone was aware of what was going to happen in JD-U. Everyone knew that Lalan Singh was going to resign and Nitish Kumar was going to become the president of JD-U. Only JD-U leaders were denying this.

Nitish Kumar had prepared the entire script several days ago. He had told his plan to Lalan Singh five days ago but Nitish did not trust Lalan Singh. That is why no one will say anything until Lalan Singh resigns, this instruction was given to JD-U leaders. When Lalan Singh became the former president of JD-U on Friday, he did not say anything, but till Thursday when he was the party president, he was speaking a lot. He was also cursing the media. Lalan Singh had said that when the idea of resigning from the post of President comes, he will first call the journalists and ask them. When the journalists say so, they will also ask the reporters what to write in the resignation letter. Then when the journalists get the resignation draft approved by the BJP office, they will resign, but on Friday Lalan Singh did not say whether he had taken the decision to resign overnight. Then either prepared the draft of resignation yourself or got it written by someone else. There are many leaders who were once close to Nitish. Nitish took him forward, then he met with the same fate as Lalan Singh has today. Many such leaders spoke openly on Friday. Former JD-U vice president Upendra Kushwaha said he was not surprised. Because Lalan Singh was following the instructions of Lalu Yadav, Nitish removed him from the post of president. Upendra Kushwaha said that no matter what Nitish does now, no one will be able to save JD-U from destruction.

Like Upendra Kushwaha, Jitan Ram Manjhi is also burnt by milk. Nitish made Manjhi the Chief Minister in his place, then removed him insultingly and a few weeks ago he even said in the Assembly that making this donkey the Chief Minister was the biggest mistake of his life. The same Jitan Ram Manjhi revealed on Friday that he had met Nitish Kumar a few days ago and told him what kind of trouble is brewing in RJD, hence do not make a big mistake by making Tejashwi the Chief Minister for the second time. Manjhi said that a few days ago Lalan Singh and 12-13 JDU MLAs had gone to Nitish with the proposal of making Tejashwi the CM, only after this Nitish understood that there was a conspiracy against him, that is why he asked Lalan Singh. It was decided to remove him from the post of president. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that everything is Lalu’s game, in which Nitish is trapped and now he is struggling. Giriraj said that Lalu Yadav somehow wants to make Tejashwi the Chief Minister and Nitish is not ready to leave the chair, hence, very soon Lalu will meet the Speaker and play with Nitish. On Friday, Tejashwi Yadav said that there has been a change in the leadership of JD-U, this is an internal issue of the party, it will not affect the relations between RJD-JDU. Tejashwi again tried to blame the media, saying that the media works at the behest of BJP. Today the truth has come to light that till a day ago Lalan Singh was openly lying and calling the reporters liars. The media reports which Tejashwi Yadav was calling nonsense proved to be 100% true.

I have no grudge that Lalan lied or Tejashwi made misrepresentations. The public knows that talking like this is their habit. My complaint is that both of them defamed the journalists. He made very base allegations against newspapers and media channels. Lalan Singh told reporters that you are reading the script written by BJP. Today the truth came out, the whole world came to know that the script was written jointly by Nitish Kumar and Lalan Singh. Tejashwi Yadav also knew the truth but all these people were telling lies knowingly. Nowadays it has become fashionable that leaders know the truth but hide it. If the media exposes them then they make false accusations against the media. This problem is visible in everyone from Lalan Singh and Tejashwi Yadav to Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav. Everyone says to the media, you are afraid of the government, afraid of Modi, the reality is that all these leaders are afraid. When they turn around, these leaders hit. These leaders cheat each other and when they feel like it, they blame the media. Now what is the guarantee that Lalan Singh will not stab Nitish Kumar in the back? What is the guarantee that Lalu and Tejashwi will not pull Nitish’s chair out from under him? And what is the guarantee that Nitish Kumar will not backtrack? Will you not betray Lalu? I say that these leaders can say whatever they want among themselves, they can lash out as much as they want, but do not blame the media for their actions, for their defeat in the elections. Let our reporters do their jobs and stop fussing over editors’ comments. I would like these liars to listen to a couplet by the famous poet Krishna Bihari Sharma ‘Noor’ – “If the truth increases or decreases, then there is no truth left, there is no limit to lies. Even if you fix it in a gold frame, the mirror tells lies. Not only”. (Rajat Sharma)
