India’s tough stance was expected after the drone attack on the ship MV Chem Pluto off India’s west coast amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. Immediately after this, the Indian flagged ship MV Saibaba was also targeted in the Red Sea. Now India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has issued a strict warning on the attacks on ships. He has spoken of strict action against the culprits of this attack.

Some forces are filled with jealousy and hatred – Rajnath Singh

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had arrived at the commissioning ceremony of INS Imphal in Mumbai on Tuesday. Here he also talked about the attacks on ships. He said that nowadays the turbulence in the sea has increased a bit. India’s growing economic and strategic power has aroused jealousy and hatred among some forces. The recent drone attack by the Indian government on ‘MV Chem Pluto’ in the Arabian Sea and the attack on ‘MV Sai Baba’ in the Red Sea a few days ago are extremely serious. Indian Navy has increased surveillance of the sea. Whoever has carried out this attack, we will find them even from the seabed and take strict action.

Iran accused

On Saturday, a drone attack was carried out on the commercial ship MV Chem Pluto, carrying 21 Indian crew members, about 217 nautical miles off Porbandar. The Navy has conducted an initial inspection of the ship MV Chem Pluto after its arrival at Mumbai port and has confirmed the drone attack. Earlier, the Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Defense Department, had said that MV Chem Pluto was hit by a drone attack launched by Iran. However, Iran has called this allegation baseless.

Navy increased vigil

After MV Chem Pluto, there has been a massive drone attack on the Indian flagged ship MV Saibaba in the Red Sea. According to American reports, this ship has come under drone attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels. Meanwhile, the Indian Navy has also increased security at sea and has deployed three warships in the Arabian Sea to protect the ships.
