New Delhi: The central government has announced a half-day holiday on January 22 due to the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to the order office memorandum issued by the Ministry of Personnel of the Central Government, in view of the sentiments and overwhelming requests of the employees, the Central Government has declared half-day working hours in all Central Government offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments till 2:30 pm on January 22, 2024. Holiday has been announced.
Ramlala’s consecration is going to happen in Ayodhya on 22nd January and it is being celebrated all over the country. States like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh have already declared a holiday on this occasion. Now the Central Government has also announced a half-day holiday in all its offices and institutions.
