On the occasion of Republic Day, a parade was organized on the duty path near India Gate. In this parade, soldiers of Indian military organs not only participated but various weapons were also displayed. The special thing is that this time more indigenously manufactured modern weapons of India have been displayed in the parade. There is discussion all around about these weapons amid the parade. T90 Bhishma Tank and BMP-2/2K
T90 Bhishma is the main battle tank of India. It is an Indian version of the Russian T90 tank. It has been specially prepared for the Indian region with the help of Russia and France. Except for a few things, it is very similar to the T90 line of main battle tanks. Let us tell you that most of the Bhishma tanks are assembled in India only. Apart from this, BMP-2/2K has also been demonstrated. This weapon is equipped with many other modern capabilities including night fighting.

Nag missile carrier has also been demonstrated on the duty path on the occasion of Republic Day. This missile carrier is equipped with tank buster missile, anti-tank guided missile and machine gun. 6 out of 12 missiles in this carrier are combat ready.

Pinaka Rocket System
The advanced type of Pinaka rocket system manufactured in India has been displayed on the duty path in the Republic Day Parade. Let us tell you that Pinaka rocket system is capable of firing 12 rockets in 44 seconds. Its range is up to 90 kilometers and it is being made more powerful. Many countries have shown interest in this weapon.

MRSAM Launcher
Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) has also been displayed on the duty path. This system has been developed by DRDO in collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). The missile is designed to provide the armed forces with defense capability against a variety of aerial threats at medium ranges.
