Haris Farooqui
India head of terrorist organization ISIS, Haris Farooqui, has been arrested by the Special Task Force of Assam from Dhubri district of Assam. This arrest was made when he was entering India from the Bangladesh border.
Arrest made from Dharamshala area
While confirming the arrest of Haris Farooqui, Assam Police said that along with the dreaded terrorist, his associate Anurag Singh has also been arrested. Both of them were arrested by Assam STF on the basis of secret information from Dharamshala area of ​​Dhubri.
Haris Farooqui is a resident of Dehradun.
After the arrest, both were brought to the Guwahati office of STF. Police said in a statement that after ascertaining the identity of both, it was found that Haris Farooqui alias Ajmal Farooqui is a resident of Chakrata, Dehradun and he is the head of ISIS India. His partner Anurag Singh alias Rehan is a resident of Panipat and had accepted Islam through conversion. Whereas Anurag’s wife is a citizen of Bangladesh.
Both are very dreaded members of ISIS. Both were involved in a conspiracy to spread the network of ISIS inside the country and restore the people. They were also planning terror funding and IED blasts at many places in the country.
