Showcasing India’s vibrant culture, Air India issues flight safety instructions – India TV Hindi

New Delhi: Air India on Friday launched its new inflight safety video ‘Safety Mudra’. It depicts the rich culture of India through various classical and folk dances of India. Along with this, things related to flight safety have also been explained through these folk dances. The video released by the airlines shows several folk dances like Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Kathakali, Kathak, Ghoomar, Bihu and Giddha. Information related to the safety of passengers has also been given during this video. The instructions for each folk dance shown in this video are accompanied by the use of ‘mudra’ or hand gestures.

Air India has posted this video on social media platform X. The post along with the video reads, ‘For centuries, Indian classical dance and folk-art forms have served as a medium for storytelling and instruction. Today he is telling another story, this story is related to inflight safety. Introducing Air India’s new safety film, inspired by the rich and diverse dance traditions of India. According to a statement issued by the airline, the video has been made in collaboration with director Bharat Bala, president of McCann World Group Asia Pacific, lyricist Prasoon Joshi and singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan.
