His journey has reached Assam where a lot of chaos has also been witnessed. However, Union Minister and MP from Amethi seat Smriti Irani has compared Rahul Gandhi to a ‘rainy frog’. During her visit to Amethi, Smriti Irani took this taunt in response to a question asked about Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra.
If elections are coming, will people come and go?
Smriti Irani has taunted Rahul Gandhi by saying that when it rains, small frogs come out. Similarly, now elections are coming, people will come and go. Smriti said that these frogs disappear as soon as it rains. Taking aim at Rahul Gandhi, he said that since Lok Sabha elections are coming, these people have come and will go after that.

Referring to the consecration of Ram temple, BJP leader Smriti Irani said that today is a historic day for Ram devotees. Ram devotees showed patience for almost 500 years. I salute those devotees who have shown patience and dignity. On not attending the Pran Pratistha of Congress, he said that as is one’s will, so are his deeds. Smriti said that what else can be expected from people who have given nothing but darkness?
Rahul Gandhi sitting on strike
Rahul Gandhi had reached there to visit the birthplace of Vaishnav saint Shankardev located in Nagaon district of Assam. But he was stopped outside. Angered by not going to the temple, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has sat on strike. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi has also raised many question marks on the government. Expressing his displeasure at being stopped from visiting the temple, Rahul asked the authorities whether now Prime Minister Modi will decide who will go to the temple?
