Snowfall and bad weather hit East Sikkim

Gangtok: Snowfall and inclement weather continue in East Sikkim. Meanwhile, the Indian Army has saved the lives of more than 800 tourists here. This information has been given by the Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army. The Army has also shared its video, in which soldiers are seen rescuing tourists.

The army also arranged for food for the rescued people.

Army soldiers have conducted a major rescue operation in East Sikkim. More than 800 tourists were trapped in bad weather and heavy snowfall. The soldiers of the Army’s Trishakti Corps not only took these tourists to a safe place but also arranged for their food.

Army soldiers are engaged in the rescue operation and all the necessary things have been provided to the rescued people. The tourists have been taken to a safe area and provided with warm clothes, food and medical facilities.
