Student found eating raw meat of dead cat
Malappuram: The latest example of how far hunger can take a person has come from Kuttippuram in North Kerala. Here a student was found eating raw cat meat at the bus station. This matter is of Saturday. Police said that this student is originally from Dhubri district of Assam.
What is the whole matter?
A student from Assam, who was hungry for the last several days, was found eating raw cat meat in Kuttippuram, North Kerala. A senior police officer said that the local people first saw him eating raw meat of a dead cat on the stairs of the bus stand.
The officer said, ‘After receiving the information, we reached the spot. On enquiry, he told that he had not eaten anything for the last five days. He told that they bought food for him and he ate it. But, after some time he disappeared from there without informing anyone.
He said, ‘We received information this morning that this young man was found at a railway station here. We reached that place and interrogated him and tried to find out where he had come from. According to his statements, he is a college student in the north-eastern state and came to Kerala by train in December without informing his family.’
“He gave us the mobile number of his brother who works in Chennai,” the officer said. We contacted him and found the information correct. After preliminary medical examination, the young man was admitted to a hospital in Thrissur. Police said that it appears that the youth does not have any physical or mental problem and when his family members reach here, he will be handed over to them. (input language)
