Rahul Gandhi has reached Uttar Pradesh for his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. On Tuesday, Rahul traveled to Amethi region, once the traditional seat of Congress. Here he fiercely targeted the Modi government at the Center and the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. However, in his speech, Rahul has said something regarding UP and Varanasi which can start a new uproar. While giving a speech in Amethi, Rahul Gandhi has described the future of Uttar Pradesh as being under the influence of alcohol.
Why did Rahul Gandhi say?
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi raised questions on the future of UP during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Amethi and made controversial remarks on Varanasi. He said that I had gone to Varanasi and I saw that there was a man playing the flute at night, there was a drunken man playing the flute while lying on the road. He said that the future of UP is dancing drunk at night, dancing under the influence of alcohol.
Rahul also spoke on Ram temple
Rahul Gandhi also mentioned Ram temple in Amethi. He said that when Ram temple opened, many billionaires including PM Modi were seen there, no one was seen backward. Addressing the people, he said that you people have no place there. Your job is to beg on the street.
Rahul gets bail in defamation case
The MP/MLA court of Sultanpur district on Tuesday granted bail to Rahul Gandhi in the defamation case related to his remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Rahul could not attend the last hearing of the MP-MLA special court on January 18 due to being busy in his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. After filling the bail bond by the court, he was granted bail on two sureties of Rs 25,000 each.
