There is a stir regarding seat sharing in India Alliance, the formula for seat sharing in Bihar is decided!

New Delhi: As Lok Sabha elections approach, BJP and opposition India Alliance have intensified preparations. The stir regarding seat sharing among the parties of India Alliance has intensified in Bihar. It is being told that CPI leader D Raja met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday. This meeting lasted for 20 minutes. According to sources, an important meeting is going to be held between Sharad Pawar, Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Uddhav Thackeray on 14-15 February in Delhi regarding seat sharing.

Important meeting will be held on Tuesday

Meanwhile, there is news that there will be a meeting of senior Congress leaders with the leaders of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) faction on Tuesday. Leaders of both the parties will talk on the issue of seat sharing in Maharashtra.

Bihar seat sharing formula almost fixed

According to media reports, India Alliance has finalized seat sharing in Bihar. The formula of 17+17+4+2 has been fixed for 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state. This formula was decided in the meeting held between Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The ruling JDU and RJD will contest elections on 17 seats each. Congress will contest on four Lok Sabha seats and one Rajya Sabha seat. The remaining two seats of the Lok Sabha will be given to the Left parties.

RJD-Congress meeting was held in Delhi on Sunday

It is being told that in Sunday’s meeting in Delhi, a meeting was held between RJD leader Manoj Jha and Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot, Salman Khurshid and Mukul Wasnik. After the meeting, Salman Khurshid said that the meeting will continue with various parties. In the meeting, we are first presenting our understanding about the seats there and then asking them for their assessment. There will be a meeting with JDU in the next 1-2 days.

Elections are proposed in April-May

Let us tell you that India Alliance includes 28 opposition parties including Congress, TMC, SP and AAP. General elections in India are expected to be held between April and May 2024 to elect the 543 members of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Parliament. The tenure of the 17th Lok Sabha will end on June 16. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying for its third consecutive victory in the general elections.
