The construction work of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on day and night. Ayodhya is being decorated in a grand manner for the Pran Pratistha ceremony to be held on 22 January. Let us tell you that on this day the idol of Ramlala will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. However, in the meantime a big update has also come that the temple trust has canceled the city tour program of the Deity idol proposed by the temple committee. Under this program, the idol of Ramlala was to be taken on a tour in the entire Ayodhya city.
Tour inside the temple premises
Before the consecration ceremony of Ramlala, the idol of Ramlala was to be taken around the entire Ayodhya city on 17th January. But it has now been decided to cancel this program. However, now the idol will be taken on tour inside the premises of the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya on this date.
Why was the decision cancelled?
An official associated with the temple committee told PTI that on the advice of security agencies, the temple trust has canceled the event due to security reasons. After the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust held a meeting with the Acharyas of Kashi and senior administrative officials, the proposal to tour the idol to Ayodhya city was cancelled. It was discussed in the trust meeting that when the new statue of Ram Lalla is taken to the city, devotees and pilgrims will rush for darshan and it will be difficult for the administration to control the crowd.
Consecration will take place on 22nd January
On January 21, the idol of Ramlala will be bathed with 125 urns and finally he will be given Samadhi. On the last day, on January 22, after the morning puja, the idol of Ram Lala will be consecrated in the afternoon in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’. Which will be accomplished by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
