New Delhi: After issuing the notification of CAA by the Union Home Ministry, now Home Minister Amit Shah has also issued its rules. Along with this, Amit Shah has also released a form to get citizenship. Let us tell you that the Government of India will start giving Indian citizenship to persecuted non-Muslim immigrants – Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis and Christians – who came from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan before December 31, 2014.
According to the order issued by the Home Ministry, non-Hindus coming from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will first have to prove themselves as residents of any of these three countries. For this, he will have to show his passport, birth certificate, educational certificate, any kind of certificate or license issued by the government there, land documents and any such documents which can prove this. It is possible that they are persecuted non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh or Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, those applying for citizenship will have to show their visa and immigration documents for entry into India before December 31, 2014. Along with this, registration certificate or residential permit issued by foreign regional
Documents issued by the Registration Officer in India (FRRO) or Foreign Registration Officer (FRO) can also be submitted as proof.
