These former Chief Ministers of BJP will contest elections, these ministers also got ticket again – India TV Hindi

Second list of BJP candidates released for Lok Sabha elections

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the second list of 72 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. According to this list, former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has been given ticket from Haveri, Karnataka. Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has been made the candidate from Karnal Lok Sabha constituency. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has also been fielded by BJP from Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency.

Names of these ministers in the second list

Talking about ministers, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will contest elections from Nagpur. BJP made Union Minister Piyush Goyal its candidate from Mumbai (North) Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra. Union Minister Anurag Thakur has been made the candidate from Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency of Himachal and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi from Dharwad. BJP’s national media in-charge Anil Baluni was made the candidate from Pauri Garhwal parliamentary seat. Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been given ticket from Mumbai North. Union Minister Bhagwant Kuba has been sent to Bidar.

Harsh Malhotra gets ticket in place of Gautam Gambhir

The BJP has fielded CN Manjunath, son-in-law of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, as its candidate from Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha seat where he will face DK Suresh, brother of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. The party has nominated Harsh Malhotra in place of Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi and Yogendra Chandauliya in place of Hansraj Hans from North-West Delhi. Earlier, the party had canceled the tickets of sitting MPs from four out of five seats in Delhi and had again made Manoj Tiwari a candidate from North East Delhi.

Tejasvi Surya in the field from Bengaluru South

Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa’s son BY Raghavendra will contest from Shimoga while BJP’s youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha chief Tejasvi Surya will contest again from Bengaluru South. Yaduveer Krishnadutt Wadiyar, scion of the erstwhile Mysore royal family, will replace Pratap Simha as the BJP candidate from the Mysore seat.

Total 267 candidates of BJP declared

Let us tell you that earlier this month, BJP had released its first list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Thus, even before the announcement of Lok Sabha elections, BJP has released the list of names of total 267 candidates.
