These leaders rejected the invitation for 22 January

New Delhi: All preparations for the consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22 in Ayodhya have been completed. Thousands of people are reaching Ayodhya to participate in this program. People coming from different sections of the country were invited for Pran Pratistha. Out of which thousands of people accepted this invitation but some opposition party leaders rejected the invitation.

Congress first rejected the invitation

The Congress Party was the first to start the process of rejecting the invitation. Congress Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh first issued a statement on January 10, 2024, saying that party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Choudhary will not go to Ayodhya on January 22. However, on January 15, many leaders of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee had reached Ayodhya.

Lalu Yadav will also not go to Ayodhya on 22nd

After Congress, TMC also made it clear that no one from their side will go to Ayodhya on January 22. After this, when the media asked RJD chief Lalu Yadav about going to Ayodhya on January 22, he said that he will not go to attend this program. After this, there was a lot of controversy over whether Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav should receive the invitation or not.

During a press conference, he asked the journalist to show the receipt of the invitation letter sent by courier. However, after this he admitted that he had received the invitation and he would go to Ayodhya, but not on January 22. He also issued a statement saying that after January 22, he will go with his family to see Ram Lalla. It was called a very safe game.

Sharad Yadav also denied

After this, the statement of NCP chief Sharad Pawar also comes that he too will not be able to attend the Ramlala Pran Pratishtha program to be held on January 22. However, after January 22, he will come to Ayodhya and take advantage of Ramlal’s darshan. Whereas CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury refused to attend the program. He said that this program has been made political and not religious and hence he will not participate in it.
