Cash For Query Case: Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra is in trouble these days. It is being said that the Ethics Committee of the Parliament can submit a report to the Speaker to suspend Mahua’s Parliament membership in the Cash for Query case. Responding to this, Moitra said, this will be the first Ethics Committee in the country which is talking about suspending a member unethically.
MP Mahua Moitra wrote on social media platform This is the committee which is first going to cancel my membership and then asking CBI to find evidence against me. That means punishment even before evidence is found. This happens in kangaroo courts. I am proud that this is happening to me.
