Traffic advisory issued regarding farmers’ ‘Dilli March’, heavy traffic jam may occur – India TV Hindi

Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Buddha Nagar police issued an advisory on Wednesday saying that Noida-Delhi routes may face traffic jams on Thursday in view of the proposed farmers’ protest in the national capital. Police said that by placing barricades on all the borders of the district adjacent to Delhi, intensive investigation will be done by Delhi Police and Noida Police, due to which in case of increase in the number of vehicles on the Noida-Delhi border route, the route can be changed as per requirement.

Appeal to use alternative routes

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Anil Yadav said that in case of inconvenience, drivers can contact the helpline number and appealed to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. Let us tell you that Delhi Police has given permission to farmers to organize ‘Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat’ on March 14 with the condition of not gathering more than 5000, not bringing tractors, not doing any march in Ramlila Maidan. Giving information about this on Wednesday, officials said that extensive security arrangements have been made in view of the Mahapanchayat.

‘The fight against government policies will intensify’

Officials said that there may be heavy traffic jam in Delhi on Thursday. Police have also issued a traffic advisory to commuters to avoid roads leading to Central Delhi, he said. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), leading the farmer organisations, has said that they will organize a ‘Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat’ at Ramlila Maidan, where a resolution will be passed to ‘intensify the fight’ against the government’s policies. SKM, in a statement issued on Tuesday, said that Delhi Police has given it NOC for organizing the mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan on March 14 and for arranging parking spaces and other basic facilities like providing water, toilets and ambulances in collaboration with the Delhi Municipal Corporation administration. have given.

There may be traffic jam in various parts of Delhi

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) M. Harsh Vardhan said that farmers have been allowed to organize Mahapanchayat with a maximum of 5000 people. A police officer said the farmers have been asked to vacate the grounds immediately after their program ends after 2.30 pm. He said that if they do not follow the promise and are involved in disturbing law and order in Delhi, then strict action can be taken. Police officials said traffic may be affected in various parts of Delhi due to the gathering of farmers at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday.
