PM Modi talked to transgenders
PM Narendra Modi today spoke to the beneficiaries of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) through video conferencing. On PM Modi’s talk, transgender beneficiaries one by one gave statements about PM Modi. A transgender said that we are happy that PM Modi has talked about opening a tea shop at Assam Railway Station for the people of transgender community. We are happy that PM Modi is thinking about the transgender community. Tanushree, another transgender beneficiary, said that it was good to see that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with a transgender. He took information about future life and employment.
Happy to talk to PM Modi
He said that we are happy to see that now the government is also thinking about the transgender community and the problems faced by them including marital life or livelihood and the government is paying attention to this. After talking to PM Modi, we got inspired that yes, we are not separate from the society, we are also a part of the society and the society is now accepting us. Mona, another transgender beneficiary, said that I was happy to talk to PM Modi. I got a loan of Rs 10,000 (from the government) three years ago.
PM worked on the mantra of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas
He said that I started my tea shop with this money. Then I got a loan of Rs 20 thousand and then Rs 50 thousand. PM Modi appreciated my work, I thank PM Modi. Mohini, a transgender beneficiary from Nagpur, said that I am very happy that our Prime Minister Modi spoke to a transgender. Even today we are looked at with hatred in the society. But our Prime Minister has taken this initiative with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. PM Modi asked about Mona’s well being. He said that I thank PM Modi.
