Bomb blast in Allahabad University hostel
Prayagraj: There has been a stir due to the bomb blast in the hostel of Allahabad University. It was a country-made bomb, which exploded in room number 68 of PCB Hostel. According to the information received, the explosion occurred while a student was making a country-made bomb. Two students have been injured due to the bomb explosion. The injured student has been admitted to SRN Hospital. Police reached the spot and are busy investigating.

Around December 6, it was reported that there was a clash between some students of Allahabad University late on Monday night. This fight became so big that there was stone pelting and bombing from both sides. There was panic in the surrounding area due to open fighting on the road. During this period, a case was also registered against 60 unknown students.
The hostel administration said that it will identify the accused and take action against them. There was also talk of expelling students found guilty. But today once again the hostel administration has come under the scanner due to the bomb blast. However, nothing can be said clearly as to why this bomb was being made and whether it has anything to do with the previous incident.
According to reports, the fights that took place in the past were over supremacy. It was said that there was a dispute going on between the inmates of the hostel SSL and GN Jha for some time.
