A lawyer was shot dead by a security guard for allegedly abusing caste near Tadikhana area of ​​Lalpur-Pandeypur police station area of ​​Varanasi. Police gave this information on Monday. Inspector (SHO) of Lalpur-Pandeypur police station, Manoj Kumar, said that the incident took place late on Sunday night during a New Year party in a lawn near Tadikhana intersection.
He said that local lawyer Raghavendra Singh (36) was having a New Year party with his friends and employees in the lawn on Sunday night. Kumar told that his friend Gaurav Singh, who runs a security company, was also present on the occasion.
Police statement came out
SHO said that during the party, Raghavendra Singh used some casteist words for security guard Harendu Shekhar Tripathi, resident of Nagwa, who works in Gaurav Singh’s security company, due to which the guard got angry and he shot Raghavendra Singh with his licensed pistol. Killed.
He told that his friends immediately took the injured Raghavendra Singh to the Trauma Center of Banaras Hindu University, where the doctors declared him dead. Kumar said police reached the spot and arrested the security guard with the pistol used in the crime. The SHO said that the police is investigating the matter. (input language)
