He said that from April 1, 2024, the Himachal Pradesh government will make the minimum support price of cow milk Rs 45 and the minimum support price of buffalo milk Rs 55. Along with this, the pension amount of the elderly has been increased in the budget.
Drive yourself to the assembly
Before presenting the budget, a unique incident was seen outside the assembly building. Chief Minister Sukhu reached the Assembly in his personal car Alto 800. Along with this, he himself drove it to the assembly. Although being the CM, he has got a state government car, he is often seen traveling in his Alto. Let us tell you that there is a huge craze for the old Alto 800 in the hilly areas.
Many big announcements made in the budget
Let us tell you that the Chief Minister has kept a budget of Rs 58 thousand 444 crore for the state. In this budget, many other issues including MNREGA, labourers, farmers and tourism have been focused as priority. Along with this, it has been announced to give an amount of Rs 3 crore to the players who bring gold in the Commonwealth Games. The fare of AC coach for the players going to participate in the game will be paid by the government. With this, an amount of Rs 2 crore will be given instead of Rs 30 lakh for silver medal and Rs 1 crore instead of Rs 20 lakh for bronze.
