PM Modi performed puja in Tamil Nadu, also visited Arichal Munai

Rameshwaram: PM Modi offered prayers at Sri Kothandarama Swamy Temple in Dhanushkodi. Apart from this, PM Modi also reached Arichal Munai of Tamil Nadu on Sunday and offered flowers on the beach. PM Modi also did pranayam there. He took sea water in his hands and prayed and offered Arghya. Modi had a night stay in Rameshwaram and after that he went to Arichal Munai.

What is Arichal Munai?

It is said that Arichal Munai is the place where Ram Setu was built. Ram Setu is also known as ‘Adam’s Bridge’. It is said that it was built by Lord Rama with the help of ‘Vanara Sena’ to go to Lanka to fight Ravana.

PM also paid floral tributes at the national symbol pillar

On Sunday, the Prime Minister offered floral tributes on the beach. He also paid floral tributes at the national symbol pillar built there. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Khelo India Games 2023 in Chennai on Friday.

He also offered prayers at Sri Ranganathaswamy and Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy temples in Srirangam and Rameshwaram respectively on Saturday. His visit to Tamil Nadu’s temples associated with Ramayana comes just ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on Monday. (input language)
