Officials said the attackers have not been identified yet. He said that the attackers opened fire targeting local people in Lilong Chingjao area. In this incident, three people died on the spot, while five others were injured.
Officials said that the injured have been admitted to the hospital. After the attack, angry locals set three vehicles on fire. He said that after this incident, curfew has been imposed again in Thoubal, Imphal East, Imphal West and Bishnupur districts.
Violence broke out in Kuki and Meitei communities
