“Defense corridors are being built in UP and Tamil Nadu”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Today defense corridors are being built in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in the country. More than Rs 7 thousand crores have been invested in them so far. Today Asia’s largest helicopter manufacturing factory has started operating in India. It’s over.” He said, “In the last 10 years, we have taken big steps one after the other to make the country self-reliant in the defense sector. From arms and ammunition, communication equipment, cyber and space, we are making flight experience of Made in India. We are doing it. This is Bharat Shakti.” PM said, “Just yesterday, India conducted the first successful flight test of indigenously developed Agni-5 missile with MIRV technology. Very few countries in the world have this advanced technology. This is a step towards self-reliant India in the defense sector.” It’s a big step.”
“Imagination of developed India is not possible without self-reliant India”
The PM said, “The vision of a developed India is not possible without a self-reliant India. If India has to develop, we will have to reduce our dependence on others. Therefore, today India is providing everything from edible oil to modern aircraft.
