New Delhi: During the discussion on Jammu and Kashmir Bills in the Lok Sabha, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a very important statement. The Home Minister said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, ‘How can there be two Prime Ministers, two constitutions and two flags in one country? Those who did this did wrong. PM Modi corrected it. We have been saying since 1950 that there should be ‘one head, one symbol, one legislation’ in the country and we did it. Shah was speaking on the comments made by Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy on the bill.

Let us tell you that on August 5, 2019, the Central Government had abolished Article 370 and Article 35A which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Not only this, the state was divided into two union territories named Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. With this decision, the administration of Jammu and Kashmir came directly into the hands of the Centre.
