Weather changed due to hailstorm in Delhi-NCR

Many parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) received hailstorm, high-speed wind and rain on Sunday. India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. The Meteorological Department had earlier said that there will be thunderstorms at different places in Delhi (Civil Lines, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Kashmiri Gate, Seelampur, Shahdara, Vivek Vihar, Red Fort, Preet Vihar, Rajiv Chowk, ITO, India Gate, Akshardham Temple, Nehru Stadium) as well as adjoining areas such as Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and some areas of Sonipat, Bahadurgarh and Gurugram in Haryana may receive light to moderate rain. The department had also expressed the possibility of hailstorm.

Alert was already sent

In this regard, the Meteorological Department had already sent an alert through message on the phones of people living in Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 13.7 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded in the city was 26.2 degrees Celsius. According to this, four mm of rain was recorded in Delhi in the last 24 hours till 8.30 am. More rain or drizzle is expected in the city. It said the humidity level in the city was recorded at 70 per cent at 5.20 pm. After the rain in Delhi-NCR on Sunday, a slight drop in temperature is being seen. Besides, the weather remains cold and moisture has also been recorded in the air.

How will the weather be in UP and Bihar?

After heavy rain and hailstorm in Uttar Pradesh, now the process of heavy rain will stop in the state. However, there may be rain at some places in UP on March 4. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in Western UP. There is a possibility of heavy rain and thundershowers in eastern UP. If we talk about March 5, the weather in Eastern UP will be clear on this day. After this the weather will become normal. During this period there will be sunshine during the day and slight cold at night. The weather remains similar in Bihar also. It is sunny throughout the day and mild cold is felt at night and morning. However, at present, rain with strong wind has been recorded in most parts of the state including Patna during the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of light rain in the western and central parts of the state during the next 24 hours.
