Weather Report: Entire North India shivered with cold, cold day alert in these states

Most of the states of North India are experiencing severe cold at this time. People are seen sitting with bonfires at various places. Due to fog, many trains coming towards Delhi are continuously running late. Cold wave has shaken people in almost entire North India including Delhi-NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, very dense fog is expected in parts of the plains of northwest and eastern India for the coming three days. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a cold day alert for many states. Let us know what the weather will be like in different areas of the country on Wednesday.

Condition bad in Delhi-NCR

Fog has engulfed many areas of Delhi NCR. Many trains are being affected due to low visibility. The temperature in Delhi fell by 6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. It is being described as the coldest morning of this season. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Delhi on Wednesday is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 9 degrees Celsius.

Cold day alert in these states

Cold Day alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on Wednesday. Freezing cold wave continues in Jammu and Kashmir also. Apart from this, moderate to dense fog is visible in Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Western Madhya Pradesh adjoining Eastern Rajasthan, central parts of Uttar Pradesh, Southern Assam and Tripura. Similar weather is likely to continue for the next three days.

Rain alert in these states

Along with cold, the Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert in some parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall is expected at some places over South Tamil Nadu, South Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh and Lakshadweep during the next 3 days.
