The fourth meeting of INDI Alliance was held a few days ago in the country’s capital New Delhi. In this meeting, Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal had proposed the name of Mallikarjun Kharge for the post of PM. However, since the meeting, reports of discord in the opposition alliance have started emerging. Meanwhile, BJP leader and former Deputy CM of Bihar Sushil Modi has sharply targeted Tejashwi Yadav.
Went to eat Litti-Chokha but…
BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said – “Today, when he (Tejashwi Yadav) has gone to eat Litti Chokha, why did he (Tejashwi Yadav) not propose the name of Nitish Kumar as the PM candidate in the INDIA alliance meeting? Instead of Kharge Saheb.” The name has been proposed as the PM candidate. These people are saying that seat sharing will be done by December 31. They will not be able to do seat sharing even till the end of January. Neither the date of any rally has been decided nor any manifesto has been made. A committee has been formed for this.”
Seat sharing should happen as soon as possible- Tejashwi
Earlier on Friday itself, the statement of Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav regarding INDI Alliance had come out. On the alliance meeting and the name of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge being proposed as the PM candidate, he had said that there is no resentment from anyone. It has been decided that seat sharing should be done as soon as possible.
No one knows Kharge – JDU MLA
JDU MLA Gopal Mandal from Gopalpur assembly seat of Bhagalpur has said that ‘the public will not agree. Doesn’t know the name of Kharge-Farge. Now that the names have been spoken, we have heard them. I don’t even know that he is the national president of Congress, Kharge ji. When you said it, we knew. He further said that no one knows him. Important people may know him, but the general public does not know him. The general public knows Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar will become the Prime Minister and everyone knows Nitish Kumar. The whole of India knows, but does not know Kharge.
