Union Minister Shantanu Thakur gave guarantee

While addressing the public meeting, Union Minister Shantanu Thakur said that I am giving you a guarantee that CAA will be implemented in the country within the next seven days. He said that after Ram Mandir, now it is the turn of CAA. Giriraj Singh has also supported this statement of Shantanu Thakur. He said that what Shantanu Thakur has said is not wrong. Citizenship Amendment Act is the demand of this country. Those who have kept the infiltrators close to their chest will feel bad because of this. He also said that CAA will be implemented in Bengal by taking TMC to heart.

All preparations have been completed

Let us tell you that in 2019 itself, CAA was passed in both the houses of the Parliament. It had also received approval from the President, but the notification was yet to come. The law could not be implemented due to Corona and protests against it across the country. Protests were seen in many parts of the country regarding this. Now it is believed that the government can issue a notification regarding this in February itself. All preparations have been made for this. A portal for this has also been ready.

What are the provisions under CAA?

Actually, under this there is a provision of citizenship for minorities coming from neighboring countries Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. There is also a provision to give citizenship to Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist and Parsi communities who came before December 31, 2014.
