Attacking the BJP, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has raised the question that in Bihar, Nitish Kumar has been given 12 days for the floor test after taking oath as the CM, while in Jharkhand, Champai Soren has been given 12 days to prove his majority. Only 3 days time has been given. Jairam Ramesh wrote in his Time was given till 12th February.

“All efforts of BJP will fail miserably”

Congress leader Ramesh further wrote in his post, “On January 31, Hemant Soren resigned from the post of CM of Jharkhand. On February 2, Champai Soren took oath as the CM of Jharkhand and he had to prove his alliance’s majority in the Jharkhand Assembly. Time was given till February 5 to do it. G-2, i.e. the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, think that they can do ‘Horse-Trading’ faster in Jharkhand than in Bihar. But they are going to get a big shock. INDIA Group will easily win the trust vote in Jharkhand today and all the efforts of BJP to break RJD and Congress in Bihar will fail miserably.”

Champai Soren’s floor test today

It is noteworthy that on Monday, CM Champai Soren will prove the trust vote in the Jharkhand Assembly. For this, the MLAs of the alliance led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) reached Ranchi from Hyderabad on Sunday evening itself. These MLAs have expressed confidence of getting the trust vote in the Assembly. The Champai Soren-led coalition government in Jharkhand has to win the trust vote today, Monday, the first day of the two-day assembly session. Champai Soren was administered the oath of office by Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan on February 2. Before that on Wednesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested former Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a money laundering case.

Nitish will seek trust vote on February 12

Whereas in Bihar, the newly formed National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will win the trust vote on the first day of the budget session on February 12. This information was received from a revised notification issued on Thursday on this matter. Earlier, the government was scheduled to win the trust vote on February 10. However, according to a new notification, the session will now begin from February 12 in which the Governor will also address the joint session of members of both the Houses. Janata Dal (United) President Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the ninth time on January 28. Kumar broke ties with the Grand Alliance and the opposition group ‘India’ and formed a new government with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
